High Performance Centre

The High Performance Centre (hpc) is Southern Africa’s first elite performance sports facility on altitude. 

Situated in Pretoria, the capital of South Africa, the sports ground spans an area of 76 hectare dedicated performance environment. The centre offers training facilities, medical services, accommodation and nutrition, tailored to the needs of athletes. 

Combined with the best of South Africa’s weather, high altitude, approximately 1500m (4920ft) above sea level and easy access to Johannesburg International Airport, the hpc is the ideal spot for a full-time training or preparation camp.

The unique blend of great training facilities, medical expertise and South African hospitality has established an international reputation for excellence and success.

The mixture of experienced world class athletes, young talents and ambitious sport enthusiasts is inspiring, motivating and relaxing at the same time. 

Regular guests include SA Football (Bafana Bafana), SA Olympic squad (incl. Olympic gold medalists Roland Schoeman and Ryk Neethling), SA Hockey, SA Tennis, United Cricket Board, Canadian National Swimming Squad, National Athletic teams from Finland, Sweden, Britain and Greece to name but a few.
